Dr. Trevor Hurlow

Trevor graduated at Stellenbosch University near Capetown. He gained a Masters degree in Family Medicine in South Africa. In 1998 he also gained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Auckland. He became a Fellow of the RNZCGP in 2001.

Trevor often says his claim to fame is the fact he is the father of triplets!!!

Dr. Marlene Bezuidenhout

Marlene graduated from the University of the Freestate, South Africa. For the last 12 years before leaving South Africa for the Middle East, Marlene was in a sole practice in Hoopstad and also had sessional appointments with the Hoopstad Hospital seeing to Police cases, Correction services, Old Age Home as well as doing duties in the Outpatient and Emergency Departments. Marlene also has a special interest in trauma.

From November 2001 until August 2007 Marlene left for the United Arab Emirates. In 2003 she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Family Medicine from the University of Pretoria and in 2006 a Masters in Family Medicine from the University of the Freestate. Marlene has two sons - Abri (24) and Derek (22).

Abri finished Medical School in 2006 and Derek is studying Biokinetics. She is an absolute animal lover and bred German Shepherds and endangered exotic monkeys. She loves beautiful garens, antique furniture and barbeques.

Marlene plans to make NZ her new and permanent home and believes the road to success is always under construction.
