SouthCare medical provides primary health services to approximately 11,500 registered patients throughout South Taranaki. We have a brand new modern facility that opened in October 2005. This is a large group practice employing eight full time GP's. We are located next door to Hawera Hospital which provides excellent integration of primary and secondary services.
We offer a generous remuneration package with minimal on-call requirements.

General Practitioner
SouthCare GP Facility
Permanent, full time - Hawera, South Taranaki, New Zealand
We are seeking a person with Primary HealthCare experience for a permanent/long term position, who must be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You will:
- Be part of an experienced team of health professionals.
- Receive a generous salary package that includes paid CME, annual and sick leave.
- Participate in teaching and peer review.
There is plenty of opportunity for recreational activities around Hawera - Lake Rotorangi for water sports, internationally renowned surf coastline and the majestic Mount Taranaki.

Nurses required
Full Time Practice Nurse
Applications are invited from experienced Practice Nurses to work forty hours per week in our newly built facility located in Hunter Street, Hawera. The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:
Be a Registered Nurse with a current Practising Certificate
Cervical Smear takers certificate and Immunisation certificate desirable
Be able to work in a team environment
Excellent assessment skills
Have excellent oral and written communication skills
Disease management/prevention skills and knowledge essential
Be willing to work rostered shifts as our facility is open 8am-6pm Monday-Friday.
Knowledge of Medtech 32 desirable.
